The EPICS team hosts both men and women’s groups to hold individuals accountable and to teach alternatives to violence. We believe an inter-agency approach brings justice and human services interventions together to serve a common goal – protecting victims from ongoing abuse.

Domestic Violence Programs:
Men Creating Change
EPICS offers a non-violent men’s group for men who batter. Using the Duluth model approach, our goal is to improve the safety of women and children and hold the men accountable for the violence they commit. Our program uses group discussion, role-plays, videos, vignettes, group exercises, dialogue and assignments to help our group members build positive, long-lasting change with their lives. Orientation Fee: $85
Weekly group sessions: $40/weekly (for 26 weeks)
Total Program Cost (Pay in Full): $1,205 total

Probation and Parole will be notified of men’s status throughout the program.
Women Creating Change
EPICS offers a non-violent women’s group for women who batter. Our goal is to improve the safety of men and children and hold the women accountable for the violence they commit. We utilize a wide variety of techniques to aid women in confronting abusive behavior and teach alternatives to violence.
The 28-program includes:

See the usual schedule and fees below. Fees must be paid at the time of appointment or payments can be made online prior to appointment. Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled meeting to complete paperwork and make sure to bring a victim impact statement, police report, or probable cause statement to your intake session. Any of these documents will be accepted and can be obtained from the attorney or police department. A $25 rescheduling fee will be charged for a missed orientation appointment.

Women Breaking the Silence
A FREE support group for women who are victims of domestic assault.
EPICS Women Breaking the Silence Survivors Support group is a support group for women who have experienced physical, sexual, verbal and emotional abuse. Our goal is to empower, inspire and help women break the silence of abuse and rebuild their lives as survivors. We offer a safe and supportive environment where women will have another day, another chance to pick up some broken pieces.
If you are a survivor of domestic violence, a woman in an abusive relationship or seeking knowledge about the signs and symptoms of abuse, please join our free support group for ages 18+.
No appointments are required, but it is recommended that you call to complete a brief phone screening prior to attending.
