A course created for teachers, parents, behavioral health professionals, school administrators, community leaders, and caretakers to help youth obtain strong mental, emotional and behavioral awareness and coping strategies.

Keeping Your Cool: A 16-Week EPICS Anger Management Curriculum, developed by EPICS CEO/Founder Vanessa Cox, is designed to help inner-city youth explore and understand the relationship between race, culture and anger. Understanding the culturally-specific challenges of this population of youth is critical to the development of their ability to manage anger effectively, increase their positive self-image and reduce maladaptive social behaviors.

Vanessa Cox, MA, LPC, CAADC, Founder and CEO of EPICS, is driven by her personal mission to live with integrity and make a difference in the lives of others. With over 30 years of clinical and administrative experience, Mrs. Cox has worked with a diverse range of populations, including low-income families, adolescents as well as individuals with strained family systems, persistent mental illness, chronic homelessness and more. Mrs. Cox lives in Missouri with her loving husband, Fred Cox. Her relationship with God and Christian faith has been the key to her success and accomplishments.
